Developed by Brace Yourself Games, Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda is a rhythmic-action adventure that’s a crossover between the studio’s Crypt of the NecroDancer roguelike rhythm game and Nintendo’s action role-playing series The Legend of Zelda, and it’s out today.
Players can choose to play as Link or Zelda and explore randomly-generated overworld and dungeons. The game supports up to two-player multiplayer.
25 classic tunes from The Legend of Zelda have been remixed and players will have to keep to the beat of the music to defeat their enemies in combat.
Items from The Legend of Zelda series along with spells and weapons from Crypt of the NecroDancer are at the player’s disposal.
As part of the Nintendo Direct that was presented at E3 2019, a trailer for the game was played which showed gameplay in various locales such as forest, mountainous, and swampy areas set to the soundtrack by composer Danny Baranowsky.
Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda is out today for Nintendo Switch and should be available to download from the Nintendo eShop by this evening.
