Some deathcore thrown in the mix this week.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 comprises a couple of tracks: one by deathcore band Suicide Silence and another by rock band Breaking Benjamin.

The following tracks will be available from 30th May:

  • Breaking Benjamin – “Tourniquet” *
  • Suicide Silence – “You Only Live Once”

* Part of the Rock Band Rivals Season 11 Spotlight Pass.

Breaking Benjamin fans rejoice – we’re bringing the heat to Rock Band DLC this week with “Tourniquet”, off the band’s sixth studio album, Ember. Ember debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and topped the US Rock Albums charts. “Tourniquet”, the third single from the album, is a blast to play on any instrument. The bass and drums hold down the song, with interspersed fills to break up the solid groove. Guitar parts are heavy and powerful, with singer Benjamin Burnley’s intense vocal lines adding a passionate layer to the mix.

Suicide Silence have also arrived as DLC this week, bringing with them “You Only Live Once” from their third studio album The Black Crown. This energetic album proved successful for the band, hitting #3 on the Billboard US Hard Rock chart, and top 10 on the Billboard US Rock and US Indie charts. “You Only Live Once” showcases the energy of the album, with driving drums and rhythmic bass and guitar lines. The hot-blooded vocals on this track are dominant, but well-built guitar solos and drum fills sure put up a fight.
