Three colour variations to choose from.

The soundtrack to sci-fi adventure game Policenauts has been remastered, pressed on vinyl, and is due to be released this weekend.

Developed and published by Konami back in 1994, Policenauts featured a storyline written and directed by Hideo Kojima. The game was never released outside of Japan and still managed to gain a cult following.

The soundtrack, produced by Konami’s in-house sound team Konami Kukeiha Club, is now available as a double vinyl album from Data Discs with three variations to choose from:

  • 2 x 180g Black and White Swirl (limited edition)
  • 2 x 180g Opaque White
  • 2 x 180g Classic Black

The limited edition features a random colour effect and therefore each copy will have a slightly different black and white colour pattern. All three editions come with a 12-page art booklet and lithographic print.

A soundtrack sampler can be listened to on the Data Discs SoundCloud page.

The Policenauts soundtrack will go on sale this Saturday 8th September on the Data Discs website.

For a limited period, the website will be closed with access limited to mailing list subscribers. Passwords will be emailed out on the day and valid for a set amount of time.

Passwords will be sent out 1:00pm (BST) for customers in UK/EU regions and 4:00pm (BST) for those in the United States. The website will then reopen to the general public at 7:00pm (BST).

Orders are expected to ship on or before 30th September.
