Standalone and collector’s editions on Nintendo Switch.

Adventure role-playing game West of Loathing is getting its physical Nintendo Switch tomorrow and there’s also a limited collector’s edition that comes with a few extras.

Developed and published by Asymmetric, West in Loathing was originally released on PC back in 2017 and in May of this year got its digital release on Nintendo Switch.

Now Limited Run Games is exclusively releasing physical standalone and collector’s editions of the comedy-adventure game on Nintendo Switch – pre-orders for both editions will be available from the Limited Run Games website from 10:00am (ET) Friday, 17th August.

West of Loathing – Collector’s Edition comes with the following:

  • Copy of the game (Nintendo Switch)
  • Reversible 18″ x 24″ poster
  • 52-card deck of West of Loathing ‘Poker’ cards
  • Soundtrack CD
  • Cloth map featuring all game locations
  • Enamel ‘SHERF’ badge
  • Large cardboard Cactus Bill standee

Pre-orders for the standalone version ends 11:59pm (ET) 31st August.

The collector’s edition is limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.

Both editions of West of Loathing are expected to ship in late October or early November.
