The game that’s a “mashup of Guitar Hero and Fruit Ninja in VR?”

Developed and published by Hyperbolic Magnetism, Beat Saber is a virtual reality rhythm game and since its release has been getting positive reviews.

Behind the game’s music and sound design is composer Jaroslav Beck, who has previously worked on cinematic music for video games such as Batman: Return to Arkham, Need for Speed Payback, and Call of Duty: WWII.

Beck recently uploaded a gameplay video that features the third tune of Beat Saber’s original soundtrack – a track called “Legend” featuring Backchat.

The composer has also shared links to buy the soundtrack through various outlets or stream via Spotify. Check out the drum & bass, rap, and breakbeat sounds below.

Already available through Early Access on Steam and the Oculus Store, Beat Saber will also be announced for other platforms soon.
