Liverpool-based synthwave producer added to the game’s soundtrack roster.

Music label G4F Records has revealed another artist who has contributed music to the soundtrack to upcoming road trip, procedural adventure game Road 96.

Synthwave producer Kalax has contributed the track “The Mountain Peak” to the Road 96 soundtrack, and just like previous artist announcements, G4F Records has uploaded a music visualiser (embedded below) to its YouTube channel to accompany the track’s wider digital release.

“The Mountain Peak” is available now from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, TIDAL, and YouTube Music.

Other artists who are featured on the Road 96 soundtrack include Cocoon, The Toxic Avenger, Daniel Gadd, Sal, Robert Parker, S U R V I V E, Alexis Laugier, and Volkor X.

A Spotify playlist has been created, comprising all the music that’s been announced thus far.

The game is a story-driven adventure in which players encounter strange characters and witness events as they flee the authoritarian nation of Petria and make their way to the border. The game is inspired by real-world facts and films by directors such as Quentin Tarantino, the Coen brothers, and Boon Joon-Ho.

Road 96 is developed by DigixArt and will be released this summer for Nintendo Switch, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
