Laryssa Okada’s ambient soundtrack is getting pressed on vinyl.
Production company iam8bit and developer William Chyr Studio are collaborating to physically release first-person exploration game Manifold Garden as well as its soundtrack on vinyl.
The game is developed by William Chyr Studio and features physics-based puzzles in a stylised game world.
The electronic, ambient soundtrack to Manifold Garden, composed by Laryssa Okada (associate audio producer for Halo Infinite), will be pressed on two standard black vinyl discs; this 2xLP album comprises 27 tracks – two of which are exclusive to this vinyl release – and comes with a download code for the digital soundtrack.
The discs are housed in an M.C. Escher-style pop-up gatefold sleeve and the album features cover artwork by TheFourthFocus.
Only 1,000 copies of this double-vinyl album are available and pre-orders can be placed on the iam8bit online store with shipping in Q1 2022.
The game is also a getting a physical release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5; these standalone copies of the game come with pop-up display art and reversible covers.
The game’s soundtrack is already available from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music.
Manifold Garden was originally released in 2019 and is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and Apple Arcade.
