A lo-fi, tribute album by Brady “BKNAPP” Knapp on two colourways.

Arranger Brady “BKNAPP” Knapp is releasing a lo-fi album that pays tribute to Nintendo’s action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

Terrible Fate features lo-fi and chillhop-style beats that put a new spin on themes such as “Clock Tower”, “Final Day”, and “Time Rewind”. Some sample tracks can be listened to on the Respawned Records website.

The album will be released on vinyl in a couple of variants: the Third Day colourway will be pressed on ‘black ice with silver splatter’ vinyl whereas the Majora’s Blaze colourway will be pressed on ‘clear vinyl with black, magenta, and pink smoke’. Both variants can be pre-ordered from the Respawned Records online store with shipping in July.

(Editor’s note: at the time of writing, the Majora’s Blaze variant is already sold out from the Respawned Records store.)

Black Screen Records is also stocking both colourways with pre-orders available now from its online store. Shipping for this distributed release is expected in August.

Terrible Fate features album artwork by Substance20.

BKNAPP has previously released albums such as WizPig and Twilight that pay tribute to Diddy Kong Racing and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, respectively.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was developed and published by Nintendo in 2000 for Nintendo 64. In 2015, an enhanced remake of the game was released for Nintendo 3DS.
