This is the final week of Rock Band Rivals Season 20.

The downloadable content update for rhythm game Rock Band 4 this week comprises two songs by a couple of punk bands: one by Goldfinger and the other by Less Than Jake.

The following tracks will be available from 4th March:

  • Goldfinger – “Superman”
  • Less Than Jake – “Younger Lungs”

Songs can be purchased individually from the Rock Band Music Store.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

American rockers Goldfinger took a dive into the ska sound with their 1997 album, Hang-Ups. “Superman” is the album’s strong opening track and will strike a familiar chord with film buffs and gamers alike, as the song has appeared in a number of releases over the years. Rock Band players will love the upbeat nature of the track. “Superman” certainly has something fun for everyone, no matter your preferred instrument. Get the whole crew together to jam it out.

“Younger Lungs” by Less Than Jake first appeared on the band’s EP, Seasons Greetings from Less Than Jake, and was also featured on their subsequent compilation album. “Younger Lungs” appears as the second track on both. The song is everything we love about upbeat ska-punk anthems. Bassists will especially love the bouncy basslines and keeping the beat on track.
