Electronic soundtrack composed by Austin Wintory.

The soundtrack to virtual reality physics-based, exploration game AGOS: A Game of Space is now also available from the composer’s Bandcamp.

The game is set in the year 2057 at a time when Earth is no longer a habitable planet for human civilisation. In an attempt to rebuild society, mankind travels outwards into space in search of a new planet to call home.

There are eight unique star systems for players to explore. Rare resources will have to be harvested, abandoned space stations can be explored, quests can be embarked on, and other ships can be traded with.

Players can also manufacture probes and unlock new parts with which they can build improvements to their ship.

The soundtrack to AGOS: A Game of Space, composed by Austin Wintory (Journey, ABZÛ, and The Pathless), was released across major digital platforms in October and now the soundtrack can also be streamed and purchased from Bandcamp.

“One of my few 100% electronic scores, featuring only synths and textural colors, with zero live performers,” said Wintory of the AGOS soundtrack. “The game is a very cool, meditative space VR game from the Paris studio and as ever, I am so grateful to work with them!”

The 12-track album is also available from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

AGOS: A Game of Space is developed and published by Ubisoft and available for Windows with support for VR headsets including HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality.
