Boston-based “rockestral” project the Video Game Orchestra has released an acoustic arrangement album featuring new takes on video game themes.
Unplugged comprises six tracks and contains acoustic arrangements of music from games such as Final Fantasy XV, Castlevania, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, NieR: Automata, Ōkami, and the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2.
The album is available to purchase and stream from digital platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, TIDAL, and YouTube Music.
Aside from arrangement albums, the orchestra has also composed music for video game soundtracks including Chapter T for the Rayark-developed rhythm game Cytus.
The group has uploaded various live performances and shows onto its YouTube channel; albums can also be streamed from Spotify.
