The game will be released digitally across multiple platforms with a physical, limited edition launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The sequel to 2019’s action shoot ’em up Habroxia is set for a digital, multi-platform release next year with a physical, limited edition releasing only on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Habroxia 2 is a non-linear shooter set in space in which players can earn 64 customisable ship upgrades and encounter 20 unique boss fights. The upcoming sequel includes a revamped twin-stick control scheme and a New Game+ mode with tougher enemies and bosses.

Developer Lillymo Games will be publishing Habroxia 2 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita whereas Eastasiasoft will be publishing its port of the game for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows. The game will be released digitally on 3rd February, 2021.

Pre-orders for the limited edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita will be available at 10:00 EST (15:00 GMT) on 3rd December from online retailer Playasia; the pre-order window will remain open for four weeks.

Habroxia 2 – Limited Edition includes a copy of Habroxia 2, manual, the game’s chiptune soundtrack on CD, a numbered certificate, and a collector’s box.

In related news, Eastasiasoft is also porting the first Habroxia to Xbox One which will be released on 2nd December; this port comes with visual enhancements and an exclusive Boss Rush mode.
