East Coast versus West Coast.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features two American rock bands in Say Anything from California and Taking Back Sunday from New York.

The following songs will be available from 19th November:

  • Say Anything – “Alive With the Glory of Love”
  • Taking Back Sunday – “Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut From the Team)”

Tracks can be bought individually.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Say Anything’s second full-length album, …Is A Real Boy, received universally glowing reviews from critics and fans alike. Released in 2004, “Alive With The Glory Of Love” was featured on that album. In 2006, Say Anything released the song to radio as …Is A Real Boy’s first single.  The song was praised by critics and fans, and did well on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The song was written by their vocalist Max Bemis about the love between his grandparents through surviving the Holocaust together. The song is incredibly passionate and upbeat to instill a sense of hope and strength. Rock Band players will enjoy belting the lyrics out with Max Bemis while the rest of the band shreds away.

Taking Back Sunday’s memorable song “Cute Without The ‘E’ (Cut From The Team)” continues to be the second-most streamed song from their entire discography, and it also appears on their 2019 20th anniversary album, Twenty. “Cute Without The ‘E’ (Cut From The Team)” first appeared on Taking Back Sunday’s debut album, Tell All Your Friends. In the early 00’s it became, and still lives on to be, one of the era’s most iconic breakup anthems. Blow off some steam with your Crew, get the full band together and FC this track.
