Week 2 of Rock Band Rivals Season 19.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 comprises a couple of songs: one by rapper and singer-songwriter 24kGoldn and the other by rock band We the Kings.

The following songs will be available from 5th November:

  • 24kGoldn – “CITY OF ANGELS”
  • We the Kings – “Spin”

“Spin” was previously available from the Rock Band Network. Tracks can be bought individually.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

24kGoldn – or Golden Landis Von Jones – rose to fame in 2019 when he reached his first Billboard Hot 100 and RIAA certified platinum single, the first of many. Golden grew up in San Francisco, CA and attended the University of Southern California, where he then took a leave of absence to pursue his career in music. In 2019, 24kGoldn released his first EP, DROPPED OUTTA COLLEGE, which features the song “CITY OF ANGELS”, which was also released as a single. “CITY OF ANGELS” is all about Los Angeles lifestyle, and enjoying being alive while living like a young and rich rockstar. The biggest focus for this track is vocals, so be sure to warm up those pipes.

We The Kings released their second studio album, Smile Kid, in late 2009. This album was meant to be a bit experimental, according to the band, as they include more instruments like piano, horns, strings, and more. “Spin” is on the track list, and this RBN track will be a worthy addition to your Song Library. Listening and playing along to “Spin” makes it extremely difficult to not want to dance along and get into the groove. Belt this lovely anthem out alongside vocalist Travis Clark in Rock Band on Thursday.
