Howard Drossin’s soundtrack to the beat ’em up gets a double-vinyl release.
The soundtrack to the 1995 beat ’em up game Comix Zone is getting released as a double-vinyl album.
The Comix Zone soundtrack, composed by Howard Drossin (Sonic & Knuckles, Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, and Splatterhouse), is pressed on two coloured vinyl discs and comprises 25 tracks of music from the SEGA Mega Drive version of the game.
The album also includes all six tracks from the Roadkill Sessions live recordings that were originally released on a SEGA Tunes promotional disc, and a six-page booklet containing photographs and interviews with composer Drossin, game director Peter Morawiec, programmer Adrian Stephens, and animator Tom Tobey.
Design and production company Cartridge Thunder will make pre-orders available from its online store at 11:00 CST (17:00 BST) on 30th September.
