Another track previously available from the Rock Band Network makes its return.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features British rock band Asking Alexandria and American metalcore band Norma Jean.

The following tracks will be available from 10th September:

  • Asking Alexandria – “Antisocialist”
  • Norma Jean – “Deathbed Atheist”

Songs can be purchased individually. “Deathbed Atheist” was previously available from the Rock Band Network.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Asking Alexandria’s “Antisocialist” is the third single from their sixth, and most recent, studio album Like A House On Fire. The song hit #9 on the charts, quickly becoming one of their most successful singles to date. According to the band, “Antisocialist” is an anthem for folks who feel underappreciated, unsupported, and overall forgotten. When asked about the album as a whole, the band admitted that Like A House On Fire features songs about both triumph and losing your way, something for everyone to relate to. Stand up strong and sing along with Danny Worsnop, or pick up your guitar and shred away. Either way, “Antisocialist” will be fun and cathartic for the whole band to play.

Norma Jean is an Atlanta band that has been tearing it up since 1997. Their fifth studio album, Meridional, released in 2010, was promoted by a television advertisement that featured scenes from the then-unreleased music video for “Deathbed Atheist”. “Deathbed Atheist” is the longest track on Meridional, clocking in at 5 minutes and 6 seconds of pure, heavy goodness. Even in an interview, the band agrees that “Deathbed Atheist” is pretty brutal. This one’s for all the thrillseekers. Drummers will need to keep the pace while guitarists and bassists tackle unique riffs for the full 5 minutes. Vocalists, be sure to warm up beforehand, too, and practice your best screams.
