Post-rock soundtrack by Andrew Prahlow gets a vinyl release.

To coincide with the launch of Outer Wilds on Steam for Windows as well as the physical PlayStation 4 release, the game’s soundtrack is getting a release on vinyl with pre-orders available now.

The post-rock soundtrack to the open-world mystery-adventure game, composed by Andrew Prahlow, has been pressed on two 180g black vinyl discs and comes in a cloth-wrapped, tip-on gatefold jacket.

The album features artwork by illustrator and concept artist Ian Jacobson.

The Outer Wilds 2xLP can be pre-ordered as a standalone item and part of a game/soundtrack bundle from iam8bit. Shipping is expected in Q3 2020.

Limited Run Games is also stocking the 2xLP album but only as a game/soundtrack bundle.

German music label Black Screen Records also has the Outer Wilds double-vinyl soundtrack in stock as a distributed title for European customers wanting to save postage costs. Shipping is expected in late-July.

Outer Wilds is developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive; the game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
