The second volume of Minecraft music composed by C418.

Music label and art company Ghostly has announced that pre-orders for the Minecraft – Volume Beta double album are available now from its online store.

This second volume of Minecraft music, composed by Daniel Rosenfeld (also known as C418), was originally released back in 2013 and is now getting a physical release on CD and vinyl.

The Minecraft – Volume Beta double-vinyl album comprises 17 selected tracks from the full soundtrack.

This 2xLP release has been pressed on standard black and ‘fire-splatter’ yellow and orange coloured vinyl discs; there’s also a choice of two album jackets: the standard jacket and the limited-edition jacket featuring a lenticular cover.

The 2-CD variant contains the full soundtrack and comes in a double-tray digipak.

Pre-orders are available now ahead of the album’s release on 14th August. All physical variants of Minecraft – Volume Beta include an instant download of the full digital album.

Minecraft – Volume Beta CDs and vinyls can also be ordered from C418’s Bandcamp.

In related news, Ghostly has restocked the green vinyl variant of Minecraft – Volume Alpha.

Comparing Volume Beta to Volume Alpha, C418 describes the second instalment as “bigger, more varied and sometimes even dark and introspective”.
