The penultimate week before the seventeenth season of Rock Band Rivals starts.

This week’s downloadable content update for Rock Band 4 features a couple of rock bands that both formed in the ’90s: Bush and Creed.

The following songs will be available from 21st May:

  • Bush – “Glycerine”
  • Creed – “With Arms Wide Open”

Tracks can be bought individually.

The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Bush’s “Glycerine” was the fourth single from their debut album, Sixteen Stone. This ballad was written by Gavin Rossdale about his then-girlfriend. The song comes across as melancholic and sentimental, and should be a fun, relaxed way to show off your abilities as a vocalist in Rock Band this week.

“With Arms Wide Open” by Creed was most definitely on your radio stations and tugging at your heart strings throughout the year 2000. Creed’s vocalist Scott Stapp also started the “With Arms Wide Open” Foundation, which helped underprivileged children and families all over. This song, while also a ballad of sorts, will surely be a test for vocalists to match Stapp’s passion.

A special bonus challenge is set to begin this week on Thursday.

Rock Band 4 is developed and published by Harmonix for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
