The soundtrack to roguelike video game Wizard of Legend gets the jazz treatment.

Music label Scarlet Moon Records has released the latest instalment in the Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies series which continues its jazzy reinterpretations of video game music.

Prescription for Sleep: Wizard of Legend comprises 12 tracks and sees the collaboration between Wizard of Legend composer Dale North and jazz duo GENTLE LOVE (Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta series composer and saxophonist Norihiko Hibino and Etrian Odyssey and Persona Q series performer and pianist AYAKI).

The release of the album coincides with the second anniversary of Wizard of Legend’s release as well as the sixth anniversary of the Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies series.

There’s also an original track on the album titled “Reconciliation” that has been inspired by Wizard of Legend.
