The Ys Musical Selection: Past and Present features rearranged music.
Publisher XSEED Games has announced the action role-playing game remaster Ys: Memories of Celceta will be released next month for PlayStation 4 in western territories.
Ys: Memories of Celceta will be available as a standalone purchase as well as the Timeless Adventurer Edition which comes with a copy of the game, The Ys Musical Selection: Past and Present soundtrack CD (which was also part of the limited Japanese Ys 25th Anniversary Pack), and 12 art cards each measuring 4″ x 6″ featuring series heroines.
The CD contains nine rearranged songs from the Ys series (Ys I through Ys VII and Ys Origins) along with five songs from the original MSX home computer release.
XSEED Games will be publishing the game in North America with a release set for 9th June. Marvelous Europe will be publishing the game for European and Australian regions a little later on 19th June.
Ys: Memories of Celceta – Timeless Adventurer Edition can be pre-ordered from the XSEED Games online store as well as select retailers.
A digital deluxe edition will also be available at launch and will come with a digital version of the soundtrack CD and a PlayStation 4 theme featuring artwork and music from the game. The “Original Theme” that was part of the Japanese release will be made available to everyone for free at launch.
This remaster features full HD visuals running at 60 frame per second and optimised controls. The game includes both English and Japanese voice-over options.
Ys: Memories of Celceta is developed by Nihon Falcom and was originally released in 2013 for PlayStation Vita. The game was rereleased on Windows worldwide in 2018.
