Pre-orders available now for PlayStation 4.

With just a couple of months before the release of No Straight Roads, developer Metronomik and publisher Sold Out have revealed the contents of the collector’s edition of the music-based action-adventure game.

No Straight Roads – Collector’s Edition comes with a copy of the game, double-sided 12″ LP vinyl containing selected tracks from the game’s electronic dance music soundtrack, 64-page art book, a pair of No Straight Roads drumsticks, and a presentation box that houses the whole package.

Pre-orders for the collector’s edition are available now for PlayStation 4 from retailers such as GameStop and 365games.

The game centres on two indie rock band members – Mayday and Zuke – as they fight for musical expression while exploring various districts and battling boss enemies.

No Straight Roads is unlike anything we’ve played before, it’s in-your-face, loud and a pretty crazy game,” said Sold Out marketing director Sarah Hoeksma via a press release. “With so much serious news in the world right now, we hope NSR’s quirkiness and originality can bring some much needed fun and funky music to gamers out there.”

The game is co-directed by Final Fantasy XV lead designer Wan Hazmer and Street Fighter V concept artist Daim Dziauddin.

The EDM soundtrack features artists and musicians including Andy Tunstall, Funk Fiction, James Landino, Az Samad, the Video Game Orchestra, Clyde Rabatel, and Masahiro “Godspeed” Aoki.

The ‘DJ Subatomic Supernova’ track featured in the trailer embedded below will be included on the 12″ vinyl as part of the collector’s edition.

No Straight Roads is set for release on 30th June for PlayStation 4 and Windows (via the Epic Games Store).
