Limited-edition CD pre-orders available.

Dance music producer RoboRob has released his latest remix album in ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII – a collection of 11 tracks paying tribute to the music of role-playing game Final Fantasy VII.

ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII comprises several electronic dance music genres including house, trance, and glitchstep. Featured artists include James Landino, Varien, Tres, arthur x medic, TOFIE, and nokbient.

“Nobuo Uematsu’s epic score from Final Fantasy VII has always been a constant source of inspiration in my life, as I’m sure it is with many others,” RoboRob said. “Some of my biggest and more unique ideas came to life with this remix project. Dirty hard bass house, a more complex approach to sound design, and a re-imagining of moving accompaniments to compliment nostalgic melodies.”

ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII is available for purchase from Bandcamp, Google Play, and iTunes; the album can also be streamed from platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, and TIDAL.

The album is also available on CD as a limited edition from the Bandcamp listing as well as the Materia Collective product page. This CD edition comes in a four-panel digipak featuring artwork by illustrator Leon Tukker. Shipping is expected around the 20th April.

RoboRob added: “I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with several accomplished and skilled producers for ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII and the amount of variety and talent they brought to the table is second to none. I’m excited to share our renditions of this classic and inspiring video game music soundtrack.”

The release of ONE BEAT ANGEL FFVII coincides with the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake which arrives on PlayStation 4 on 10th April.
