The descriptions below are taken from this week’s release notes:

Clutch is a rock band from Maryland that started in 1991 and has since released 12 studio albums, amongst live albums and more. Their song “50,000 Unstoppable Watts” brings slick riffs and killer energy that will be fun for the entire band. Neil Fallon, the vocalist of Clutch, came up with the lyrics to “50,000 Unstoppable Watts” while recording the album, Strange Cousins From The West, and was inspired by a nearby U.S. Army base. If you’re digging Clutch’s “50,000 Unstoppable Watts”, consider snagging “The Mob Goes Wild” from their 2004 album Blast Tyrant, which is also available in the Rock Band Music Store.

Rodrigo y Gabriela are an instrumental guitar duo from Mexico City, Mexico. Rodrigo y Gabriela both met playing in metal bands in Mexico, you can hear their heavy roots in the intricacies and technique of their guitars. “Hanuman” was released on their third studio album, 11:11, where each song is a tribute to an artist that inspired them. Rodrigo y Gabriela’s “Hanuman” is dedicated to Carlos Santana and provides an incredible amount of variety and challenge on both guitar and bass.
