Both editions to ship in February 2020.
Laced Records has announced a collaboration with developer The Coalition and publisher Xbox Games Studios in which the music label will be releasing the Gears 5 soundtrack on vinyl.
18 tracks of original orchestral music from the third-person shooter, composed by Ramin Djawadi – who also composed the previous instalment in the series Gears of War 4 – has been pressed on two vinyl discs with a couple of editions available to pre-order now from the Laced Records website.
The standard edition comprises two black 180g vinyl discs housed in a gatefold sleeve.
The limited edition is the same as the standard variant except the soundtrack has been pressed on two 180g coloured vinyl discs – a transparent red and a transparent yellow.
The Gears 5 double-vinyl soundtrack features artwork by graphic designer and illustrator Luke Preece, with both editions expected to ship in February 2020.
Back in September, the Gears 5 soundtrack was released digitally across major digital outlets.
