Available together as a bundle.

Music label Minimum Records has announced that the soundtrack to the 16-bit era-inspired racing game Horizon Chase Turbo can now be pre-ordered on double-cassette with a special bundle that also comes with a 5-inch record.

Developed by Aquiris Game Studio, Horizon Chase Turbo is a modern take on retro visuals and features local multiplayer for up to four players. Players can choose from over 30 vehicles to race in across over 100 tracks. Locales include environmental and weather conditions such as heavy rain, sunsets, blizzards, volcanic eruptions, and sandstorms.

The game features an electronic soundtrack by Barry Leitch who also composed the music for the original Horizon Chase on Android and iOS as well as the 1992 Super Nintendo racing game Top Gear, and more recently turn-based role-playing game Dark Quest 2.

Leitch’s soundtrack, which features performances from guitarist Peter Schin, will be released on two cassette tapes, featuring the full 20 tracks. This can be pre-ordered as a standalone release.

A limited edition bundle can also be pre-ordered which comes with the double-cassette soundtrack and a 5-inch lathe cut record that features the Horizon Chase Turbo title theme.

Pre-orders are available now from the Minimum Records website and Bandcamp page; items are expected to ship by the beginning of October.
