Only 500 copies of the Limited Edition available.

Special Reserve Games and iam8bit have announced physical editions of platform game Gris for Nintendo Switch as well as two variants of the soundtrack on vinyl.

Developed by Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital, Gris tells the story of a young girl and her “journey through sorrow,” as the studio’s website describes it. As she attempts to cope with the distressing life experience that has led her to this juncture in reality, players will see the protagonist grow emotionally and begin to see this realm from a different perspective, which in turn will reveal fresh areas to explore while using new-found abilities.

The game’s soundtrack, composed by music band and producer Berlinist, has been pressed on 2xLP vinyl in a couple of variants and will be available to pre-order from the iam8bit website later today (10am PDT/6pm BST).

Aside from the standalone game, the production and distribution company will be stocking the Gris – Signature Edition which includes the game, an art book, iam8bit’s limited edition 2xLP soundtrack vinyl, and a signed painting by Roset.
