More metal added to the rhythm game’s catalogue.

Rock Band 4s downloadable content update for this week comprises a track by progressive metal band After the Burial, and another by metalcore band Unearth.

The following songs will be available from 20th June:

  • After the Burial – “Berzerker”
  • Unearth – “We Are Not Anonymous”

Tracks can be purchased individually.

The following descriptions are taken from this week’s release notes:

“Berzerker”, the opening track from After The Burial’s second album Rareform, kicks off this week’s DLC. “Berzerker” is one of the band’s most popular songs, having been featured in video games and as a consistent crowd pleaser at live shows. Every instrument’s going to be tough, with gallops and constant shifting on bass, tons of fast HOPO runs on guitar, and unyielding, shifting kick patterns for drums. It’s a long song, running nearly six minutes, and it will test both technical skill and speed for all.

The second DLC song we’re releasing this week is “We Are Not Anonymous” from Unearth. Hailing from Boston (like us!), Unearth’s concept album The March, reached the top five of both the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums and Independent Albums charts. The March was another success for Unearth, leading to a Special Edition re-release just a year after the album debuted. Bassists can expect to see their strumming tested, with long runs coming up several times through the song. Guitarists have lots of movement, both as chords and as very quick HOPO snaking. Expect a tough solo in the middle of the song as well.

Developed and published by Harmonix, Rock Band 4 is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
