From composer Matthew Chastney.
Developed by Rogue Sun, virtual-reality puzzle game Tin Hearts is out now via Early Access on Steam and so too is its soundtrack, as announced by music label Materia Collective.
In Tin Hearts, players must guide squads of toy soldiers to safety using unlocked powers to control various objects. Objects can be linked together to form paths for the soldiers to take towards the exit.
Composed by Matthew Chastney, the soundtrack to Tin Hearts is available now from Bandcamp, iTunes/Apple Music, and Spotify.
“In Tin Hearts, great care and attention has been focused on creating a magical world filled with wonder and beauty and the heartfelt story,” Chastney explained.
While the composer has utilised guitars, keyboards, and pianos for the Tin Hearts soundtrack, the music also features performances from additional musicians on various stringed and woodwind instruments.
Chastney added, “My hope is that the music compliments these ideas and immerses the player in this world, guiding them as they explore the puzzles, mysteries and uncover the emotional narrative. I have been very fortunate to have Richard Curran, Jordi Francis, Laura Intravia and Kristin Naigus performing on this music.”
