Record label Data Discs has announced that due to demand, it has re-pressed several of its SEGA game soundtracks on vinyl.
Shenmue, Sonic Mania, Shinobi III, and Panzer Dragoon will all be available for sale later today from 17:00 (BST) onwards.
Shenmue has been re-pressed on 180g light translucent blue vinyl, comes with a lithographic print, traditional Japanese obi strip, and spot UV varnished cover. Orchestral music by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, Osamu Murata, Ryuji Iuchi, and Yuzo Koshiro are spread across 13 tracks. The full tracklisting can be found on the product page.
Sonic Mania is available again in translucent “Sonic Blue” and weighs in at 180g. Packed in a heavyweight gatefold sleeve, this too comes with a spot UV varnished cover and exclusive art work. Composer Tee Lopes has put together a 16-track selection of music and the release also comes with a download code for the album. Head to the product page for the full tracklisting.
Shinobi III has been re-pressed on 180g vinyl and comes in the oxblood/maroon variant. The record is packed in a 400gsm matt finish sleeve with a traditional obi strip. A foldout poster of original Japanese art work sourced from the SEGA archives is also included. All music is composed by Morihiko Akiyama, Hirofumi Murasaki, and Masayuki Nagao. Panzer Dragoon has also been restocked but in small quantities. The double LP 180g re-press is available again in classic black vinyl and comes housed in a 425gsm mirror board sleeve, accompanied with a lithographic insert, and silver laminated obi strip. The soundtrack is composed by the late Yoshitaka Azuma and includes Azuma’s score in its entirety, and three alternate bonus tracks.
