Composed by Mikolai Stroinski and Garry Schyman.

The soundtrack to Metamorphosis is available now digitally.

Metamorphosis is a surreal, first-person adventure game inspired by fantasy novelist Franz Kafka and developed by Polish indie studio Ovid Works. Players awaken to find that they have transformed into a tiny bug and must help their friend Joseph who’s been arrested for unknown reasons.

The game’s orchestral soundtrack, composed by Mikolai Stroinski (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) and Garry Schyman (BioShock Infinite and Middle-earth: Shadow of War), comprises 25 tracks and is available to purchase from the Skill Tree Records online store.

The album is also available from Deezer, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

“Scoring Metamorphosis provided Stroinski and Schyman the perfect opportunity to write music inspired by the expressionist era of art and music in the early 20th century,” reads the album description.

“Inspired by past luminaries such as Arnold Schoenberg, Alban Berg and Bernard Herrmann, the composers incorporated techniques of the era such as Sprechgesang (half-spoken, half-sung), 12 tone, aleatoric, as well as tonal and atonal harmonies to invoke a past age that worked perfectly for the game’s universe.”

Metamorphosis is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
